BEST MINIMALIST WALL CYLINDER
How To Buy: Lumens.com Cutsheet: WAC WS-W2605 - 1 Light Dimmer Recommended By Manufacturer: Lutron Diva DVELV Color Rendering: 90+ (never buy LEDs that have a score less than 90). A score of 80 is actually worse than fluorescent lighting. Color Temperature: 3000K Lumens: 800 Wattage: 16W (for lights that shine downward only, and don't direct light upward) Power Supply/Driver: The driver is built into the light fixture itself. Indoor/Outdoor: Approved for indoor and outdoor (wet) locations where the light won't be submerged in water. Saving Cost: Changing to a less costly sconce can be a strategy for saving cost. The tradeoff for this particular alternate is that the LED bulb isn't 'built-in' to the light itself, which means the light bulb can be stolen.

Tips for Using This Light on Your Project | BEST MINIMALIST WALL CYLINDER:

Dimming:

All dimmers are not created equal. Flickering and buzzing can often be traced back to using a dimmer that isn’t compatible with the LED, or to connecting too many LEDs to a single dimmer. Quality lighting manufacturers often publish literature on which dimmer lines can be used with their LED light fixture. This particular light manufacturer has published a two page dimming report. From this list, I like to use Lutron's Diva DVSTV dimmers on my projects. It is always worthwhile budgeting for quality dimmers that are compatible with the LED you have chosen.

Value Engineering & Alternates:

Changing to a less costly sconce can be a strategy for saving cost. The tradeoff for this particular alternate is that the LED bulb isn't 'built-in' to the light itself, which means the light bulb can be stolen. If on the other hand you'd like to find a similar sconce, which is more sleek and refined, I recommend checking out WAC's Dot Ceiling Mount.
